Audit Senior
RCO utilizes a risk-based audit methodology that requires our professionals to understand each client’s business and make a comprehensive assessment of business risks and how those risks affect the financial statements as well as our client’s operations.
Candidates for the senior position must be able apply a business advisory mindset to traditional audit services. Audit seniors are responsible for performing audit procedures, documenting the results of those procedures and conclusions reached, interacting with client personnel as necessary throughout the audit, and identifying internal control recommendations. Candidates should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, must be working to obtain CPA certification, and have 2 or more years of audit experience in a public accounting firm. Experience auditing non-profit organizations and local governments is preferred.
