Jan received her B.B.A. in accounting from Texas Christian University in 1980. She joined Rylander, Clay & Opitz, LLP in June 1983 after working with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, Fort Worth, Texas and one of their local clients. She became partner in October 2000. She is responsible for tax planning, research, and compliance for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts.
